Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) are grey on the upper part of the body, white on the underbelly. Their habitat generally consists of warm waters such as the Pacific and Indian Ocean as they travel in pods. The Bottlenose Dolphin is a warm blooded mammal capable of reaching speeds of 40km/h, due to its streamlined body and powerful fins. Dolphins are highly intelligent; they use sight, hearing, touch and echolocation (sound waves) to gather information about their surrounding environment.
