2006 $1 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 80th Birthday 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, the first child of The Duke and Duchess of York, subsequently King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, was born at Buckingham Palace on 21 April 1926. The coin’s reverse depicts an official colour photograph of Her Majesty by George Bodnar. The design includes the inscription HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II 80TH BIRTHDAY 21-4-2006. The reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
