2006 $1 Australian Kookaburra 1oz Silver Gilded Coin

The reverse design depicts two kookaburras on a tree branch. The birds are gilded in 24-carat gold. The reverse also includes the inscription 2006 THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA 1oz 999 SILVER. The obverse design bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and includes the monetary denomination. A gold-plated pin featuring a kookaburra design theme accompanies the coin.
