2005 Proof Set

The commemorative designs of the 20c, 50c and $1 coins have been minted to mark 60 years since the end of the Second World War. The coins feature designs that capture the spirit and emotions of Australians in 1945, namely those associated with Peace, Coming Home and Remembrance. This six coin Proof Set pays tribute to the news of global peace bringing joy to all Australians in August 1945.
