2005 Mint Set

The unique designs of the 20c, 50c and $1 coins in this six coin Uncirculated Set have been minted to mark 60 years since the end of the Second World War. The coins feature designs that capture the spirit and emotions of Australians in 1945 - Peace, Coming Home, Remembrance. Mint designers, Wojciech Pietranik and Vladimir Gottwald, have captured the mix of emotions associated with the end of the war with sensitivity and poignancy.
