2005 Baby Proof Set

The Royal Australian Mint has proudly minted the 2005 $1, 50c and 20c coins with designs to mark 60 years since the end of the Second World War. This six coin Baby Proof Set marks this milestone. Peace, Coming Home and Remembrance reflect the feelings of the time. Mint coin designer, Wojciech Pietranik, has captured the sense of jubilation and joy in peace on the $1 coin and the poignancy of remembrance on the 50c coin. On the 20c coin designer Vladimir Gottwald has brought coming home, welcoming and sense of relief and re-uniting.
