2005 $1 Rotary 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin with Stamp Set

Rotary was founded in Chicago by attorney Paul P. Harris on 23 February 1905 with the aim of fostering fellowship among its business and professional members. Rotary’s familiar symbol is depicted in blue and gold on the reverse of this coin together with the inscription CENTURY OF SERVICE - A NEW CENTURY OF SUCCESS. The coin design, similar to the organisation’s official centennial logo, also features a starburst background and a banner inscribed with the words 100 Years of Rotary above a band of stylised people holding hands.
