1991 Mint Set

February 14th 1966, for many Australian’s is a date they will never forget. For it was on this day, C-day, Australia converted from pounds, shillings and pence to dollars and cents. Now, 25 years after Australia's conversion to decimal currency the Royal Australian Mint celebrates the occasion with this eight coin Uncirculated Set, featuring a commemorative 50c coin. This set also symbolises the end of an era by including final issue 1c and 2c coins which will no longer be minted after this final minting of the 1991 dated coins.
