1991 $10 State Series Tasmania Silver Uncirculated Coin

The rugged independence of many Tasmanians is reflected by the land in which they live, from its wild mountain peaks to untamed waterfalls and its roughly sculptured coastline. But Tasmania boasts many other riches as well. They range from extraordinary wildlife to many of Australia's oldest historical buildings and structures. In fact, Hobart, is Australia's second oldest capital, founded in 1804. This $10 silver Tasmanian coin is the sixth in the Australian State Series and features the Tasmanian coat of arms modelled by Tony Dean-Kellock.
