1977 Proof Set

This six coin Proof Set includes the 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c and a commemorative 50c Australian coins. Proof is a method of manufacture, not condition or grade. These specially made coins are distinguished by sharpness of detail and usually with a brilliant mirror like surface. The 50c design features at the centre the wattle blossom symbol of Australia, surrounded by “silver jubilee – 50 cents” and twenty five crowns.
