1963/64-1966 Australian Currency Changeover Premium Collection

Symbolising the greatest change in Australia's monetary history, 14th February 1966 saw the formal introduction of decimal currency.The system it replaced - known as the Imperial or predecimal system - was based on the Romans of 2,000 years before, and had underpinned the economy of the Great Southern Land since the time of European settlement in 1788.
