Chinese Lunar New Year is one of the most important traditional Chinese celebrations. Family dinners are held and gifts are exchanged. Dragon and lion dances are performed through the streets. The two weeks of festivities conclude with the traditional Lantern Festival, where red lanterns fill homes, shops and public spaces.
