2018 $1 Australian Emu 1oz Silver Proof Coin

Australia’s largest bird, The Emu, cannot fly, but its powerful legs mean it can run as fast as 50 kilometres an hour over the continent’s dry plains. The coin’s reverse depicts an emu walking through a stylised outback landscape and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark. The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
