2015 50c 50th Anniversary of The Royal Australian Mint Coloured Uncirculated Coin

For 50 years, the Royal Australian Mint has been producing coins which people across Australia have spent, saved and collected. We mark the occasion with this special coin which very appropriately bears the number 50. Since 1969, Australia’s 50c coin has been a unique dodecagon shape. This exciting new design features many of these shapes arranged into a honeycomb, a tribute to the Royal Australian Mint employees who are as busy as bees making Australia’s coins.
