Most Australians know the importance of volunteers in our society. We are all proud of the internationally acclaimed work done by the Sydney Olympic Volunteers and Australia is well known for its voluntary Surf Life Savers. In times of crisis many communities rely on the help of volunteer firefighters and the State Emergency Services volunteers. This six coin Proof Set honours our volunteers.
