1998 Bicentennial Coin & Note Collection

The Royal Australian Mint in association with the Reserve Bank of Australia presents facets of Australia's history in coins and notes in this, our Bicentennial year. We take you from the land of the dreamtime, through the arrival of the tall ships and some of the great achievements of Australians in our colourful history. The wonders of our flora and fauna, the success of our agricultural endeavours and the character of historical Australians are represented in coins and banknotes. The collection of coin is in proof form including commemorative issues and circulating legal tender. The banknotes include the commemorative $10 note, a sequentially issued $5 note and one of the last issue of $2 notes.
