1994 Mint Set

The United Nations has declared 1994 the International Year of the Family. In an effort to raise awareness of the good things about family life, the future of families through our children and the diverse nature of the Australian family, the Royal Australian Mint held a nation-wide competition to design a commemorative fifty cent coin. That coin, displaying the prize-winning design of Carolyn Rosser, is the feature of this six coin Uncirculated Set.
