In 1954 Canadian banknotes were issued with what many believe to be the intentional inclusion of the likeness of a demon-like figure.
Whilst it remains unclear as to whether or not this image was intentionally inserted, it is quite noticeable once you are familiar with them. The top being bushy eyebrows followed by a hooked nose and a wide grin towards the bottom.
Ultimately, the government arranged a second printing with alterations made to the shading on this area of the Queens hair to conceal the unsettling image.
