David brings to Town Hall Coins and Collectables his absolute passion for pre-decimal investment coins and notes, which has seen him build a wealth of expertise in the numismatic industry spanning 17 years. His reputation as a numismatic expert coupled with his extensive knowledge in portfolio creation and valuations has been developed over 10 years while managing Downies’ Sydney store, and formerly as senior numismatist for Downies worldwide. Prior to realising his dream of owning and operating his own coin company David played key roles during the acquisition and sale of some of the industry’s most significant collections. (The Royal Australian Mint Master Collection, The Granger Collection, The Reserve Bank of Australia’s Concept Banknote Collection)

Steve Troha
Store Manager

Steve began his career in numismatics right here at the Town Hall Coins and Collectables store in 2008. In this eight year period, he has amassed an incredible amount of knowledge in relation to several areas of the industry. Steve projects his passion for collecting and as the Shop Manager he endeavours to assist all collectors to the best of his ability.

Matthew began his career by spending four years in the Philatelic Bureau for Australia Post before moving on to Downies where he continued his numismatic journey. Now with Town Hall Coins, Matt is showcasing his enthusiasm and knowledge by providing our clients with a first-class experience as they grow their collections.
